What is the Davis Dash?
•The Davis Dash is the Davis Foundation's annual fundraising campaign
•100% of donations go back to the Davis Foundation!
•Students will collect donations from March 9th–20th
•On the day of the Dash, March 20th, students will enjoy a day of outdoor FUN while “dashing” in an obstacle course complete with our own DJ Dynamite, fun characters and more!
•Our 2020 theme is "Explore the Outdoors"
What are the goals of the Davis Dash?
•To raise money for our school while having outdoor FUN!
•To fund STEM initiatives and capital improvements at Davis–most of 2020’s donations will go to enhancing and creating brand new outdoor learning areas!YOUR CHILD WILL BENEFIT FROM DONATING TO THE DAVIS DASH!
We funded the following in 2019 directly due to the last 2 years of Dash donations:
•$57,000 for playground enhancements (rubber ground cover, fence, mulch and railroad ties removal)
•$49,000 for iPads, cases and charging stations for EVERY Davis classroom
•$4,500 toward replacing broken P.E. sound system
•$8,000 for premier teacher training and student IXL subscriptions
•Plus various contributions toward STEM enhancements resulting in Cobb STEM Certification

•Use the form on the donations envelope to collect money in person.

•Have your child turn in this donation envelope daily so he/she can be entered into daily prize drawings!

•Have your child come with tons of energy wearing Davis spirit wear the day of the Dash!
•Parents are invited to attend as volunteers and/or fans to cheer on the students!

Great news about company matching! If your company will match donations, but they can’t send it in until after the Dash donation deadline, you can submit an OFFICIAL letter from the company (on company letterhead) stating the amount and expected date of the check. The amount will count towards your child’s fundraising efforts.
